What is NAND Memory?

NAND memory is a type of flash memory that does not use electrical charge or power to maintain the information stored on the its chip. The information in it can be electrically erased and reprogrammed. It is mostly used in USB flash drives and memory cards. There are two types of flash memory which includes NAND and NOR.
